What We Do
We Care Charity, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the town of Salem in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. It is made up of people who share the advocacy of compassion. Its mission is to provide food and impovering children, individuals and families in crisis in New England and beyond.

Our organization is a fine example of how grassroots efforts can grow and lend a hand to even more people.

We Care Charity is powered by donations. We regularly set up and facilitate feeding programs at eighteen shelters, four soup kitchens and two children's homes in NH & MA. We cook and serve for an average of 2500 people each month. We also hold clothing drives for the homeless and families who are in shelter.

Dear Friends,

With this pandemic, WCC is doing it's best to feed the homeless. With everyone’s effort to help us financially, this is what WCC is doing in return:

1. Increase the number of sandwiches and bagged lunches we currently give out. From mid-February to March, with the help of volunteers, we have distributed 1700 plus lunch bags a month to the community for the needy and homeless folks. This is besides cooking for our shelters.

2. We have also arranged to have the pantry be open for additional hours when requested. This would be by appointment only. We get calls each day from guests who want food. They reach out to us via phone, Facebook messages or texts requesting to be served by the pantry.

3. Currently, the Food Bank floor shopping is closed. More than 50% of our purchases were via floor shopping. We have no access to this now due to COVID-19. Online shopping is available but since Food Bank is bare at this time, we are not getting our items. As a result, we along with our volunteers go out every day looking for groceries to different stores Walmart, Market Basket, Aldi's. We spread out over different towns to purchase our food to stock our pantry. Things are tight but with the community’s help, I am sure we will be able to go this extra mile to help the maximum number of people that we possibly can.

4. The demand is very high now. We are getting more requests than ever before at our food pantry. Each week we get 3-4 new clients as many are laid off and many are facing poverty and homelessness. We can certainly direct new funds towards keeping all our programs running at a pace higher than before. Thank you!
